Password Protect Settings
« on: August 05, 2009, 02:35:00 PM »
Me again...

Also - in order to prevent our Users from changing the directional setting, I'd like to be able to password protect the Settings. It wouldn't have to be extremely secure, just enough to keep a casual user from being able to change the settings using the GUI.

I can see why that would be useful in your situation and I'll have to think about it more.  I think this would be best to add after I work on the new account settings mentioned in your other thread.

Maybe I could put a checkbox on the new (0.3 or 0.4) accounts page somewhere to 'lock' that account and all the address books that it syncs.  Unlocking could be done by changing a pref in the Config Editor or maybe a password like you said.
