iPhone/iPod App
« on: April 06, 2009, 06:43:42 AM »
Since getting an iPod touch a few weeks ago, I've been thinking about buying a Mac mini and getting the iPhone SDK, which would allow me to develop applications for the iPhone and iPod touch.  It would probably be free or maybe $0.99 after becoming stable (free if you get it before) to help recover the cost for the license.  It would at first allow you to fetch contacts and view their extended attributes set by gContactSync and expand from there.  I'd like to include groups since they aren't present in the integrated contacts tool.

This is far from a promise since I could use that money--$599 for the mini + $99 for the developer license + another GB of RAM + a better HDD--to buy myself a nice Core i7, new mobo, and some DDR 3 for gaming and compiling software in a fraction of the time it takes my Intel Pentium D 930.
