New gContactSync to support updated Gmail Contacts features?

Hello,

I am wondering if a new version of gContactSync will be released soon to support the new features in Gmail Contacts (you know, the update that occurred a few days ago)? For instance, Gmail Contacts now fully support First, Last Names, and custom fields.

Do you know if it would be possible to sync first, last names, postal addresses, phone numbers, and groups/lists with Gmail in light of the recent updates?

Hello,

gContactSync 0.3 will support most of the recent additions, including first and last names, birthdays, websites, relationships, and more.  It is currently in beta and I hope to release 0.3.0 very soon.  You can read more about it here and decide if you'd like to try it now or wait until it has been more thoroughly tested.

Yes to all of those, but custom labels are not supported yet.

You're welcome.  If you subscribe to this topic you will be notified when I release a new version of 0.3.  It won't automatically update until I put it on addons.mozilla.org and it gets reviewed by their team.

Custom labels should work now, too as of 0.3.0rc1.
